10 Tips for Adults: Choose MyPlate
These no-cost classes focus on understanding the food groups and how to follow a healthy eating pattern. They are evidence-based and include discussion, some physical activity, and a recipe demonstration. Each class in the series is on a Thursday at 1:30pm:
- 5/7/2026: Introduction to MyPlate
- 5/14/2026: Make Half Your Plate Fruits and Vegetables
- 5/21/2026: Make Half Your Grains Whole Grains
- 6/4/2026: Vary Your Protein Routine
These workshops were funded by the USDA’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). SNAP provides nutrition assistance to people with low income. It can help you buy nutritious foods for a better diet. To find out more about SNAP, call 1-800-342-3009.
