Art Exhibit: "Richard Baldwin: Modern Abstract Expressionist"

Local artist Richard Baldwin started modern abstract expressionist style painting sometime in 2025. This show is a collection of his work done in this style so far. Each painting is different. Per the artist, “I paint what I feel, see, and read.”About the artist: Richard was born in Syracuse in 1948 and he started his art journey at 12 with a box camera. He began taking art classes in high school and, while serving in the Navy, he started dabbling in photography. From 1998-2017 he was a historical tailor, making 18th-century military clothing.This exhibit will be on display on the main floor of the library from March1 – March 30,2026. There will be a reception at the library for Richard on March 10at 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
