Central New York Watercolor Society 2025 Juried Exhibition
The Wilson Gallery in the Norene Reale Falcone Library at Le Moyne College will be the venue for the 2025 Central New York Watercolor Society’s annual Members-Only Juried Exhibition from June 2 – August 15.
The Juror of Selection and Awards is award-winning artist Linda Wokoun, a Signature member and past President of the Florida Suncoast Watercolor Society, and a member of the Florida Watercolor Society, as well as the Transparent Watercolor Society of
America. Wokoun will be the featured Guest Artist for the CNYWS annual three-day watercolor workshop in October.
Member works on display will showcase a wide variety of approaches to watercolor and water media painting, as well as a variety of subject matter. Many of the paintings will be for sale.
An excerpt from Linda Wokoun's juror's statement encourages viewers to:
"Enjoy the atmospheric landscapes, the dynamic abstracts, the variety of approaches to organic and man-made subjects and the tender representations of the human form that are all present in this year’s exhibition. I know I did."
An opening reception for this exhibition will be held in the library on Sunday, June 8th, from 2 – 4 p.m. An awards presentation for will take place at 3 p.m. The public is cordially invited to attend.
The Central New York Watercolor Society was organized in 1982 and has grown to include member artists from all over New York State and around the country. CNYWS is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of watercolor and water media painting. CNYWS organizes workshops and holds several exhibits yearly as part of their public educational outreach.
