En Plein Air: Timeless Nature Paintings by Nikolay Mikushkin
Nikolay Mikushkin is an award-winning plein air landscape artist and has participated in many regional and national exhibitions. He is also a member of the United Scenic Artists of America, working as a Scenic Artist for motion pictures, commercials and television. Locally, his work has been selected for permanent installations at Upstate Cancer Center in Syracuse as well as the Saranac Lake Visitor’s Guide. He aims to capture the stunning seasons Central NY has to offer, whether it be the landscape of an Adirondack autumn or a snowy Syracuse winter. He wishes for his work to represent a reminder that we should cherish nature and not take it for granted.
