Light A Candle For Literacy Parade & Children's Book Festival

Join us for the Light A Candle for Literacy Parade & Children’s Book Festival, a fun-filled, family-friendly celebration of reading, creativity, and community!

The day kicks off with a lively Literacy Parade beginning at 12:00 PM at Beauchamp Library. Families are invited to dress up as their favorite book characters and march in the parade.

Following the parade, enjoy an exciting Children’s Book Festival (1:00–4:00 PM) featuring author meet-and-greets, live readings, interactive activities, and special guest appearances.

This event is perfect for children of all ages, families, educators, and anyone passionate about inspiring a love of literacy.
