Mad about Motif: Printing Fabric with Textile Dyes with Pat Pauly

Pick a handful of strong motifs — from light and airy to bigand bold – and use them to print spectacular fabric during this 5-day intensive workshop. Using thickened fabricdyes, we will combine motifs to create whole cloth prints, or overall prints,or some to cut later and use in fiber work. You will use your graphic motif inseveral printing techniques, including drawing, color application, monoprint, andscreen printing. Knowledge of dye processes helpful but not critical.
