National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 9-11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk

The New York State Association of Fire Chiefs is proud to host the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb and Walk, an event dedicated to honoring the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. Participants will climb or walk the equivalent of 110 stories—the height of the World Trade Center towers—symbolically completing the heroic journey of those firefighters who gave their lives in service to others.

This powerful tribute is open to firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, families, friends, and all community members who wish to honor the memory of these fallen heroes. Each participant will receive an event t-shirt and carry the name of one of the 343 firefighters, ensuring that their sacrifice is never forgotten.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF), which provides vital support to the families and colleagues of fallen firefighters. Through fundraising efforts, the NFFF offers scholarships, wellness programs, and other assistance to fire service survivors.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses and organizations looking to support this important cause. Join us as we climb, remember, and honor those who gave everything to save others. We will never forget.
