Teal Ribbon Run and Walk

Professionally timed 5k and 3k family fun walk to support Hope for Heather. Hope for Heather is a 501c3 non-profit in memory of Heather Weeks. This event raises funds for local gynecological cancer education and awareness, support for patients and families and critical research to find a test for early detection. Heather passed in 2008 from cancer and her family has made it their mission to create a lasting legacy in the community; creating awareness of women's cancers. From humble beginning 17 years ago in the pouring rain, the event has evolved to attract hundreds. The course is in beautiful Lewis Park in Minoa, NY (east Syracuse) and is kid-friendly and pet friendly.
