IF you're looking for an inspiring space for your teen to meet creative friends while learning pro tips from artists? You have found the best place in CNY!

LAC Studio offers instruction for any skill level and any painting & drawing medium. The students enjoy the flexibility of choosing which medium to explore and plenty of guidance, resources and professional tips. Instructors are experienced teachers and professional artists.

Students set the pace and choose the subject, style and medium.
Teachers offer tips, re-direction, critique and ideas for skill building.
The studio is an inviting gallery setting with inspiring music selections.
The supplies are included and readily available to all students including: Watercolor, acrylic, oils, pastel, oil pastel, pen & ink, graphite, charcoal and mixed media.

Students who have attended as ongoing members of the LAC Teen Art Program:

Foster long-term friendships
Learn how to communicate their ideas using a multitude of creative outlets.
Go on to art programs in college and continue into their chosen career field.
Attend a variety of LAC programs such as: Summer Camps, art internships, assistant teaching positions, work share programs and teach at LAC following college.

New Students will:

Love choosing which art medium they prefer (drawing or painting)
Enjoy a relaxing studio setting.
Appreciate the welcoming environment created by all who attend.
Feel included and heard during all classes.

Here are a few answers to questions we hear from new students:

We teach all art mediums at any skill level.
We will offer a skill assessment during your first class and set some goals for your time in the studio.
You instructor will offer plenty of instruction and references. All supplies are included.
There is plenty of parking next to the building. Classes are offered weekly.
You can buy a one class pass before registering as a member.
When registering as a member, you can sign up to attend one or two weekly (2hr) classes.
Memberships attend ongoing classes during the listed times/days (adult, teen, tween or youth).
The membership works like a gym membership with recurring payments and a minimum of a 3 month commitment. (email if that’s a problem
Buy a membership for ongoing classes. Attend WEEKLY CLASSES by choosing from our membership options with monthly recurring payments. (1X or 2X per week)
Benefits of becoming an ongoing student: Membership savings, flexible scheduling, additional support, creative resources and an online community forum. We work with your schedule as best as we can…call for details about flexible scheduling.
