The Process of Acrylic Painting with Todd Bachta

In this 6-week series, students will learn the process ofapplying acrylic in layers to produce depth and richness that translates intorepresentational art. First, they will focus on establishing value mapping in apainting using a monochromatic palette. Then they’ll learn how to usetransparent and semi-transparent color glazes of acrylic, allowing the valuethat has been established underneath to show through.
