Located within the National Veterans Resource Center building at 101 Waverly Ave. in Syracuse, the NVRC gallery is currently exhibiting Veteran Print Project: Selected Works through March 9. Since 2010 the Veteran Print Project has fostered dialogue between artists and veterans to inspire the creation of fine art prints. The project continues to evolve from conversation catalyst to seeking new ways to commemorate and memorialize shared human experiences. This exhibit displays the latest approaches to this vision and features multiple years of collaborative efforts with the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design students, Colorado State University students, and partnerships with veteran organizations like the American GI Forum, the United Women Veterans, and the Wisconsin Veterans Museum. Veteran Print Project: Selected Works is an exhibition that gives a look into some of the prints created as a part of the Veteran Print Project. The prints displayed in the gallery are part of the living record of Veteran experiences and perspectives.
